Turquoise Sky deals in repair of major kitchen and laundry appliances, as well as certain small and miscellaneous home appliances. We are qualified to provide quicker and more accurate diagnoses, and distinguish ourselves by repairing circuit boards that are often condemned by other technicians to expensive full-on replacement.
We provide affordable and transparent pricing, honest advice, and a commitment to mastery of our trade. The pricing scheme is as follows: Call/Trip charge is $25 plus $0.50 per minute of route length (via Google Maps); cost of diagnosis is $50; repair labour is $60/hour (diagnostic labour is no charge); and parts costs are the same as we pay wholesale. In cases where we save you substantial money in parts (i.e., repairing a control board with $5 in parts when most technicians would charge $500 for a new board), we pass 75% of the difference to you in savings, and charge 25% as extra repair labour. In the case that we deem the appliance impossible to repair, we will provide the option of referral with advantaged pricing to a local retailer, from whom we receive a referral bonus.
Note that we will use manufacturer-specified solutions (e.g., replacing instead of repairing circuit boards) when asked to work under warranty, even if they are not optimal in our opinion. This is in order to meet our obligations to follow manufacturer practices, and to prevent the voiding of your warranty.
All of our work is warrantied for 180 days from the original repair date - note that this applies only to repairs or changes that TSTAC carried out as well as any issues that, at our own discretion, TSTAC accepts fault for. Other damages to the appliance, whether due to manufacturer defect, standard wear on an unserviced component, or improper use/care, would count as a separate service call.
